RAF 'TYPE C' BATTLE OF BRITAIN FLYING HELMET RECEIVERS - 10A/7063
SOLD
For sale are a lovely, rare pair of early WW2 RAF 'Type C' 10A/7063 receivers/earphones intended to fit the ubiquitous B Type Flying Helmet. These were the type of receivers used during the Battle of Britain.
Unlike most 'pairs' that appear for auction, these are almost totally complete, with both receivers retaining the inner 'stalloy' disks, and one also complete with the celluloid disk 10A/7066. Internally the receivers are very clean, and the exterior bakelite is also in nice condition, although there are some crazings on the bakelite symptomatic of age. The receivers are also complete with their original screw on caps, both nicely marked.
Overall a lovely pair of these rare, early receivers.
