RAF TYPE B FLYING HELMET EAR CUSHIONS, 22C/67

For sale are a rare, original set of RAF Air Ministry issued ear cushions, intended for the Type B flying helmet. 22C/67.
 
The cushions are still in good shape, and relatively flexible. Internally the rubber is soft and springy, but as the photos show the exterior is rather dry and dusty. The rubber is pliable enough that these can still be fitted to a helmet, though I would recommend stabilising the exterior rubber first.
 
Air Ministry ear cushions are extremely rare to find, and had these been in better condition they would be double the price.
